A 19th Century, antique, drapers, steamed bentwood storage box, with original graphics painted on the front and back.
The drapers, Gunner Cash Draper, were based in Ironbridge and were makers of baby linens, underwear, blouses etc.
The bentwood box has strengtheners across the base & inside the lid and is covered in a strong black paper, with the name of the drapers hand painted on to it in white paint, which has obviously got signs of wear and tear consistent with it's age and use. The original brands label has remnants existing on the top of the lid.
A beautiful decorative piece, measuring 45cm L x 36cm W x 30cm H.
