A lovely naive 19th Century antique rural landscape oil painting on wooden panel.
The painting is on a wooden panel which looks as though it was part of a cupboard door or shutter. These scrap materials were often used by artists who couldn't afford to buy canvases.
The panel is still painted in it's original colour with a thin trim of beading around the painting, which is painted in gold.
Measurements are 51cm H x 52cm W.
