The painting is mixed media with paper overlay, some with text, and the art work is framed in a deep box frame painted a jade green colour. The back of the painting has been covered with a newspaper from the period, dated 1952.
The sitter is wearing clothes with a colour palette typical of the time and has marcel waved hair.
Measurements are 30cm W x 40cm H x 4cm D.
