A large antique French Prosper David et Fils sugar sucre storage canister tin.
The Makers originated in Grenoble France and the tin, which appears to have originally held chocolate powder, although showing signs of wear to the patina, makes for interesting storage in a kitchen. The design and font on the tin, date it to the Art Noveau period around 1890-1910.
There are a few dents to the lid but otherwise good condition.
Measurements are 17cm H x 18cm W.
