A pretty antique, late 19th Century, papier mache, chinoiserie, hand painted mirror with shelf.
The dark brown mirror base is decorated with magnolia flowers and a bird and the bevelled mirror has butterflies and flowers painted onto it.
The little shelf is a useful addition. there is a tiny surface crack along one part of the frame, which I have shown in a detailed shot.
Measurements are 46cm H x 30cm L x 12cm W from the back to the front of the shelf.
