A mid 19th Century Sunderland pottery decalcomania glass rolling pin, with nautical images. These were given as gifts by sailors as a sweetheart souvenir & often filled with salt which was a luxury. One end of the rolling pin is missing which was broken after gifting for the salt to be poured out of it.
This is a lovely example and can be hung on the wall or displayed on the small wooden plinth it comes with.
Measurements are 38cm L x 16cm circumference.
