A portrait oil painting on canvas which is an excellent vintage copy of the portrait of Nina Hamnett painted by Roger Fry in 1917. Roger Eliot fry was an English painter and member of The Bloomsbury group of artists. The canvas, which is much smaller and a cropped version of the original painting, is set within a deep period striped antique gilded frame.
There is a little historic damage to one side of the frame exposing the plaster beneath which has been panted over.
Measurements are 36cm W x 42cm H x 7cm D within the frame.
