A lovely 19th Century antique Seascape Coastal, oil painting on canvas.
The painting depicts a beach cove with a fisherman and his boat in the foreground & a coastal path leading the eye out of the painting. In the background there are sailing boats and the headland and rocks painted against a sky with rolling clouds. The canvas is in good condition with minimal wear, apart from one tiny area which is shown on the images in more detail & is hardly visible.
The gilt frame is the original Victorian frame.
Measurements are 62cm L x 43cm H x 3cm D in the frame. The canvas measures 51cm L x 31cm H.
