A large dark wood antique tramp art frame which would also make a fantastic frame for a mirror.
These finely whittled wooden pieces were made from old cigar boxes or crates and this type of work originated in the Victorian era but became popular, largely in the USA in the 1920's and 30's, during the depression.
The frame has a couple of areas of damage where some of the wooden pieces are missing but it's a great size and the price is reflected.
Measurements are 70cm Wide x 77cm Height.
