A beautiful black ebonised, late 19th Century, aesthetic movement side table.
The hexagonal top is covered with the original gold coloured chenille fabric, with deep fringe edging.
The turned legs are embellished with gilt paint in areas, and finished with small brass castors.
There is an original label underneath the table from Mousell Bros furniture distributors Liverpool, established in 1853.
There is a small area of fabric where the pile of the chenille has been pushed the opposite way, but it's right on the edge of the table, so not that obvious and doesn't detract from the overall atttractivness of the table.
Measurements are 57cm Diameter,60cm Height.
