This beautiful sailors shell covered valentine souvenir would have been made whilst out at sea for the sailor to give to his sweetheart. The shell covered frame holds a hand coloured sketch of a boat and mementos of coastal items within the frame.
It is in very good condition with a small metal hook on the back ready to hang on a wall.
